The City of Loris, SC comes to life with decorations and events for the holiday season!
What’s your favorite thing about Christmas in Loris? What are you most looking forward to?
My favorite event is the Loris Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade because I can wave to Santa from the comfort of my front porch in my comfy PJs and slippers!
With that being said though, I do want to ensure that road closures for events are properly communicated to citizens, especially to those who will lose access to their home for a period of time. I have never received notification that my house will be inaccessible. As your City Councilwoman, I will work to ensure that vital information like this is disseminated properly. No one should find out about a road closure because they’re trying to get home from work or head out to grab dinner and can’t! (I did speak to the Loris Police Department who assured me that they will stop the parade and allow access for emergencies.)
