Who is running?

• Andrea Coleman (incumbent)
• Candice Grella (newcomer)

What am I voting for?

There were three open City Council seats up for election on November 4th. Two candidates, incumbents Kelli Gerald and Carroll Padgett, won their seats back, but newcomer Candice Grella beat incumbent Andrea Coleman by only two votes, forcing them into a runoff.

Who can vote?

Any City of Loris resident voter registered prior to October 6 2025.

What is City Council?

• Has all legislative, policy, and administrative power.
• Establishes departments and prescribes functions.
• May hire administrator to assist council.
• May appoint officer to administer departments
• Investigates departments.
• Appoints clerk, attorney and judge.
• Elects mayor pro tempore.
• Prepares and adopts a balanced budget.
